TruemanAlp - A truly alpine experience

Owners Tony and Debbie Trueman moved to the alps from Nottinghamshire in 2006 with their teenage children Charlie and Libby, a life changing decision necessary to spend more time together as a family, and have a better work/life balance.

Tony, a builder (luckily!) renovated the farmhouse in the summer of 2006 and the barn in 2007, now though splits his time between maintaining/enhancing the properties and sport.

Debbie, a beauty therapist since she was 16, is never happier creating a warm, friendly environment for her guests, with the attitude ‘if it’s not as good as home, I’m not going!’ her attention to detail and standards are excellent. The word ‘tired’ is not in the truemanalp vocab, so everything is replaced regularly, much to the annoyance of her long suffering husband!

They live on site in their own apartment, so are always around to make sure you have everything you need and to help when necessary.

With over 60% of guests returning, they leave nothing to chance, always aiming to make each holiday better than the previous one, the only thing left to do is to guarantee the weather – but they’re working on that!
